Reigate and Banstead District Council have released plans to build 2000 new homes across East Surrey. This is due to the high demand for residential accommodation in the area, time and area statistics have proved the area maintains its desirability, demand for housing is high.
Surrey County Council is to spend £3m over four years to improve the town centres in Surrey. Horley will attract a good share of this money, it will improve the shopping areas and bring people to the town supporting and improving the local economy. This will increase the value of Horley as a whole.
The Bastien Jack team are pleased to confirm planning permission has been granted for a new development of twelve new One and Two bedroom apartments in East Grinstead, the site will also incorporate two penthouses. We have appointed a design team who are developing conception/planning drawings to construction drawings.
The site has already had Soil Investigation tests and a Topographical Survey to assist with the foundation design and all results so far have been positive.
We are developing the internal specification but will base on our current well received spec used in Phoenix House Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Joseph Gilbert, our newly appointed Project Manager will take the lead on this site as well as Saxley Court.
There is keen interest in the properties, please give our Lincoln office a call if you want to reserve off plan.
Bastien Jack are pleased to announce and welcome Joseph Gilbert as Project Manager, he will drive the Saxley Court project forward as one construction phase with Bastien Jack Limited leading as Main Contractor.
Due diligence of sub contractors aligned to the project continued during March. We take great care to ensure the correct contractors are appointed who have a reliable track record, where we can be confident of the quality of work and the programme can be delivered as scheduled.
Please review the proposed development:
We are still on track to deliver the project by September 17.
The team at Bastien Jack Ltd are very pleased to announce the purchase of a site in Horley near Gatwick Airport for redevelopment to 43 apartments and 5 commercial units.
Preliminary works have started on site.
We will sell the apartments via a local estate agent. Details on request.
Photographs and CGI to follow.
The site is now all but complete. The units look amazing. The final snagging matters will continue for a number of days, which is normal, but the road on Bloomsbury Street is now to get its top coat this Wednesday.
The units are now selling fast. I think the election caused some uncertainty amongst buyers but they are now out in force and we expect the units to be all sold (STC) by next week.
Phoenix House is turning into a model project. It is absolutely on budget and on time. The building is looking great.
The team are entering a period of first and second fix trades following each other round.
We are approaching the period where the appliances are arriving ready to be fitted. We’re making arrangements to properly secure the building and then the kitchens and bathrooms can be second fixed.
Sales are happening with almost 50% sold already!!!
We’re almost there, with the final trades working hard to get the units finished.
The render looks amazing and is designed to reduce maintenance and enhance durability.
The kitchens are arriving as and when required and being fitted now.
High quality fittings have been used throughout the properties, with simple but effective touches like soft closing toilet seats. The internal doors in particular are extremely high quality giving the feel of contemporary luxury and solidity.
